CREDIJ (Regional centre for local development, training and job-integration of young people) is a non-for-profit Association created in 1983 by the French Ministry of Labour (Normandie Region).

CREDIJ gathers VET experts in the field of vocational guidance and counseling, of training design and implementation, and of educational systems evaluation.

It conducts qualitative studies on apprenticeship, job integration and employment of young people, as well as on skills evaluation and recognition (formal, informal and non formal), notably in the construction and services sectors. It also participates in the training of tutors and trainers.

It is involved in European Union projects, aiming to support the transparent comprehension of European qualifications and certifications, as well as to promote job mobility and professional equality.

CREDIJ leans on educational networks and socio-economic stakeholders, able to disseminate, implement and give added value to the European projects’ products and results: European universities’ networks, the GRETA Network (vocational training for adults – French ministry of education) and other Vocational and Education Training centres, the Training for Trainers Network (TTNet - Centre Inffo - Cedefop), sectoral branches, local authorities, associations…
